are the BBP! MOC images we've seen final?

Let's try not to let this post deteriorate.

I'm really pulling for Bif Bang Pow! because they have some licenses I like and want to support, but I think we need some clarification.

Are the MOC images that have been sprinkled all over the internet photos of the actual final product that will be in stores or are these test shots?

Could the final product change before we see them in stores?

It's pretty rare to see pics of a "final" product until it hits the stores.
They almost always change. Relax and wait until you have it in your hand to judge a product.

god I hope so, the lost figs are god awful, and flash gordon heads are too, I REALLY LIKE THE EFFORT BBP HAS PUT INTO THESE LICENSES and want them to be sucsessful! but people were ready to bite, and I hope the issues are fixed before the release.

It would be great if BBP could chime in, also u will notice on the lost cards, the pictures are from the prototypes shown. I do find it amazing that they would release these pictures of the so called final product, Im sure when they saw it, they must of been"hang on ,this aint right" I understand things can be improved on, but this has gone the other direction, regarding the heads.

Yes. With ANY of the new in progress figures, these shots are meant to display preproduction figures in the preproduction packaging to show the buyer (BPP), who then shared them to build excitement along the way. It is more than likely that the heads were pulled from an initial rotocasting run (too early perhaps) and clearly do not have the quality and final paint masking applied that EMCE and their factory have always delivered with consistency. That is the problem with trying to meet the insatiable demand for pictures of something that will never look just like the final product until it is about to be slapping into a package and shipped on a boat. Whether BBP made a mistake sharing these in progress photos can be debated, but I'd bet good money that the final product will be much more polished than what has been shared here.

I remain hopeful for this line and don't expect them to release something that looks simply awful. I'm sure their hands were tied and they would have preferred to release something more final...but the fact remains that in this day and age you may only have one chance to make a first impression.

I'm hopeful that any statement we get from BPP is along these lines.

I wouldn't go that far. I would reserve judgment until we see the final product. To be fair, BBP!'s previous product doesn't exactly have the pedigree of Palisades or other small companies that you can trust with your eyes closed. Often small companies are at the mercy of the Chinese factories who couldn't care less about the quality of the product they are spitting out.

It's great that BBP! has admitted these don't look right, but unless the toys get a huge turn around, it will be meaningless.

Thank goodness BBP is going to change the plastic for their heads! I was really stressing about that; along with the recession, the wars, and the oil spill.
