Astro Apes - last week none, this week three...

It's been a pretty good week. At the begining of last week I had no Astro Apes. Thanks to two recent auction wins I now have three new additions.

The female Ape had no shoes so the ones she is wearing are cut down Dinah Mites.
The rest are exactly as they came.

One thing I have noticed, and I previously thought it was a musty smell, is that these and AHI figures have a very distinctive smell to the plastic.

Still one to go though Bryan - the spectacled Dr Zorma. The hunt is on.

Everything about them shouts 'cheaply made'. Knockoffs in the true sense of the word. They certainly have a novelty value though and in a way seem more interesting than the figures they were copied off.
