I hooked up with Sean Griffin and his faithful sidekick Ian, this morning and we shot over to Dallas for the Spring Sci-fi Show.
The Bad: it's getting where it really isn't even worth the price of admission (up to $15) to go to a show here in Dallas. A small dealer room with fairly recent store stock that nobody wanted a year or so ago and still doesn't want. Too many overweight Klingons and Jedi. A few spaare actors signing autographs (not my thing). lastly, hords of comics which I respect but don't collect.
The Good: There were a few Megos to be had, I emphasize few . . . 12
" Batman in box $125 passed, Enterprize with beat up in complete crew $140, Naked fonz $10, Boxed bearded AJ $10, grabbed it!. I alos scored an EMCE Chekov for $10 which I needed, so all in all not abad show, I would just like to see more vintage stuff.
