I'll be there, dressed as Ma Hunkel on Sunday, possibly Saturday as well.
Hey! Where's the waiter with the water for my daughter?

How about this guy? Incidentally, this is a TOUGH costume to recreate, so kudos to this guy...

Remember that Transformer costume we saw at WonderCon last year, Jess? Now that was impressive! Too bad he didn't stay for the costume contest.

This year is probably the second year we *haven't* gone. It got to be a bit of a stresser to have to cook up costumes for the kids. After Rachael was Godzilla, Optimus Prime and Anya was Transformer Sparkplug, it was like we were having to try to outdo ourselves every year...

Oh that's so cool! Nothing cooler than parents costuming their kids.

Sharry--I DO remember that Transformer costume!

I remember both costumes, and they WERE cute, but you shouldn't pressure yourselves like that.

go because it's fun, not because you feel you have to live up to, or beat anybody's expectations!

but if you wanna do a good, quick, cheap costume for your kids, talk 'em into going as Power Pack!

Very true. It's easy to get caught up in that hype. Go for fun and only dress up the kids if they want.

There's the Sandman Mystery Theater version of Wesley Dodds. They made him a portly fellow. I also see a lot of Ghostbusters, because they can get away with a non-heroic build. There's always Jek Porkins

I got here shortly after the show opened and have not seen a single Mego, other than a few Mattel heroes. Hopefully a few more dealers will show up tomorrow.

hmm, that bodes ill, but not unexpected. Still, there's usually a few vintage toy dealers at these shows, so I'm actually a bit surprised.

I've come up with a FEW ideas for heroes I could do. Arthur from "The Tick" would work.

Well we decided that we would dress up on Sunday. What is
your name so I can say hi?

I'm actually there and back again, though. :(

had a pretty good time though.

Oh well. I looked for you, but didn't see the shirt you mentioned. I met the Fraim Bros though.
