Jamie, thanks for posting this. It looks like the Anaheim convention is a lot of fun! I wish I could have gone. It would take a lot of convincing though, for my family to let me go down there. *sigh* I don't have that much energy.

This was funny alright. Yeah Ole Mr. Rooney looked like a grouch if you ask me twice.$75 for a autograph by the shat....I would have brought the "BIG DEAL",and gotten the bad boy for lower cost.

Thanks guys! We had a really good time. This is the first time we've gone to any other Con besides San Diego, which we go to annually. It was lower key compared to San Diego's. It only had about 1/4 the booths SD has, but we just took our time and cruised through it. If you have a chance to go next year, I'd recommend it. There were a few booths with Megos too. I bought myself a carded "back-up" Sulu for $15, and a Retro Mego carded Werewolf for for $15 too. I've named him "Jacob". He will probably make an appearance in upcoming videos.

If you notice in the video, Shatner looks at Sulu at the very end of that scene - hilarious. I was a little nervous, cause I didn't want anyone to get ****ed off. I ALMOST went up to Nichelle Nichols (Uhura) with Sulu, but chickened out. What was weird is that no one really thought it was odd that I was shooting video with a doll there. Everyone just kinda laughed, and thought it was great. This dude sitting next to Mickey Rooney said, "Now that's funny!" after I shut the camera off. I wanted to get footage with Shannon Dogherty, but the people around her were camera nazis so I couldn't.
