I'm talking about the one where "Batman" contacts "Robin" abou the papers being ready. Robin, the son, then delivers the newspaper to his dad/Batman. The one I've seen has the dad wering a yellow turtleneck and the kid entering the room and running past a large chest of drawers.
Well, I finally transferred a few Mego film reels over to DVD, including that commercial. However, in this one there is a different kid, dad and room. Dad has a mustache and the kid runs by a shelving unit. The script, however, is exactly the same.
Did Mego shoot the same commercials more than once with different actors? Are there other known examples of Mego doing this?
I have seen the practice today if a comapny feels an ad is successful. They just update the look and actors, but keep the script. It usually only happens, however, if the ad runs for longer period of time- something I do not think happened with this item.
