How many of you have to have both a T1 and a T2?

Whilst i'm happy to have either, circumstances sometimes dictate that I end up with both - I find it hard to part with stuff so i'm just wondering how many of you go out on a mission to have a T1 and T2 version of the figures in your collection?

A T1 and a T2 Lizard are a must given the hands as well as a T1 and T2 Mxy for the heads. I have a complete loose WGSH collection and am now going for either a T1 or T2 of each character. I kinda took "Collect 'Em All" to heart. Some are actually a little harder to find than others.

Right now I'm buying what I can get.

      I prefer T2, but sometimes I don't have a choice, and I kinda LIKE my T1 Robin...

I try to get both a T1 and a T2. I like seeing the differences in the figures right next to each other on the shelf. I'm actually fonder of the T1's now, but as a kid definitely preferred the T2 bodies.

I guess if you count Kresge cards, I do have a lot of both but it's not something I do on purpose.

Except for Trek, for some reason I really like type 1 star trek dolls.

I set out in the beginning to collect both type one and two in my Superhero collection and have pretty much done that.

I have to agree with that. No idea why, but from the 1st series I have 3 of each and much prefer the T1s over the T2s.

I pretty much prefer T1s to T2s, but I'm happy no matter which version I get. And I will usually only have one.

I can see why you would... Some characters don't seem right being bulked up on a T2 body, especially when their comic/TV counterpart is smaller/slimmer...

Right now,it's just Superman. Later on it'll be Robin as well. I want to put him in the Batmobile and it's kind of hard doing that with a Type 1.

I like T-2 but if I happen to get a T-1 in the mix I don't get rid of it. I like to have a diverse crew of body types. I just got one of Boss's new muscle bodies and I really like it. I have castaway, DOC, and even the newer action Jackson with a Sting head. I have been using UFC fighter's bodies putting a mego head on them just to have a different body. I really like the T-2 Trek bodies the best.

The only T1 I had to get was the T1 Lizard. Beyond that, I set out to get only T2 of everything else, except any rare figures that are only available as T1, like Smirking Mxy. But if the head is available on T2, that's what I set out to get.

When I first started collecting MEGOs I wasn't going for a specific body type. Now I have a variety of both types. So it makes sense to me to get them all. I also prefer the Type 1 body for my Star Trek figures

I am a Type 1 kind of guy. Do not own a single Type 2. They look like Russian dancers in their outfits. The Type 1 "spread eagle" stance says Mego to me.

In general, I prefer type 1, some figures only came on t2 so really I am not that fussed.
