    Christmas of the Apes

I picked up some old pictures from my mom's about a year ago and found a few shots of Christmas 1974. I got a camera that year so I took a few pictures of other family opening gifts and some of my presents after the morning clean up. I couldn't find many of the pictures though, I guess they are lost forever, but I have these. The quality is very poor but I have one good shot of the Apes Treehouse with Corny, Zira , an ape guard, and an Astronaut prisoner. 2 other pics had a touch of Megoness, one shows my pile of gifts including some Evel K. stuff, a part of the tree house box and a still sealed on card Astronaut. The last was a photo of my Uncle and near his hand was the paper trash bag with the cards for Cornelius and Zira at the top. I got Dr. Zaius and a second Cornelius after dinner. Wish I had better pics, heck, I wish I still had the toys.

    It was a great Christmas!

What nostalgia! Sometimes I wonder if those were the good ol' days because we were kids, or if life/the world was just more simple back then...Maybe a little bit of both. Great photos!

Fantabulous photos! Looks like you had a great Xmas! POTA, Evel Knievel, Down The Drain game (we had that!), a camera, you were one lucky kid!
