Batman & Robin Megos on Film in 1977 aka My Brother's Birthday

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ALuEbdkjCSk

"Its your brother's birthday, not Batman and Robin's,"
    says huedell's mom.

Apparently my self-centered Mego feelings were alive and well
    over 30 years ago
"No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris Mannix

How cool is it that your family had a camera that recorded sound. Very cool. Dig that kitchen wall!
    It's all good!

All my early years that were recorded about 1971-1973
      were without sound.

I don't think they recorded much until my brother arrived.

When my brother was born in Nov. 1976 the sound "kicks in".

      Thanks for watching man

I feel very fortunate that I have access to those few seconds on film...

Yeah, I always want to contribute to the VAST Mego community here
in a "special" way and, frankly, there's not much I can come up with---

BUT, I always knew this footage existed and that you guys would get
a kick out of it in the context of "Mego History"
and it was just a matter of catching up with the technology
to share it with you guys.

If I can find anything else, I'll post it...but I feel pretty vindicated for now

I'll have to ask dad or my bro about that...I'm not tech savvy in that area.

sometimes you don't need a delorean to go back in time.

                    now mind you, I'm a 100% 80s kid. Born on January 1, 1980. But I was a 70s fetus.

That's fantastic! All of our home movies from that time period are of the soundless variety.
