If it is, I think there would still be some things that would indeed be hard, especially any one or two of a kind items. That said, if your funds were truly unlimited, it would be hard for any collector to turn down, say, a million dollars for any item. You may think you would never sell something in your collection, but imagine a million dollars in front of you and not giving up that one item.
Yeah, that what I was asking but I guess I didn't get that across well enough. Still I like hearing every one's answers on having unlimited funds. Fun to hear all the different answers.
Jeez Bill, how is it that YOU of all people know what I was asking. You weren't adopted by chance were you?

      Tim,
Would that be your ultimate Cap grail item, or just your ultimate Mego related Cap grail item?

I'd buy up every high end carded Mego, and then open all of them but one of each, and film the carnage to post online

I would probably spend money moreso on traveling around to toy shows and to meet with collectors all over the world, but still limit my purchases. There are some very rare and pricey Mego collectibles that honestly I just don't really care that much about owning, so I wouldn't buy them simply because I could afford to. And like mentioned earlier in this thread, I think I too would still be a stickler about overpaying for things, even if money wasn't really an issue.

Good question Chris. I think it would be my ultimate Cap grail piece. The only other piece that would come close would be a Captain America Comics #1. I've have a couple of opportunities to own a Cap #1 but passed only because the condition was just so bad and I still think I'll own one someday. There are a whole lot more Cap #1s out there than the green Palitoy carded Cap. Heck, you can't even find a picture of one.

With unlimited funds, the most incredible collection can be built without a doubt. For me, part of the fun is trying to acquire things I want AND pay the bills. If money was not an issue, it would not be as fun for me.

I hope one day I get a chance to put my logic to the test.

Since part of the thrill for me when it comes to collecting mego's with limited funds and trying to outbid or be the first to see that early morning market place item for sale.....

I would take it to the next level for all to enjoy......

Unlimited funds mean I would be able to start a Mego Museum in the heart of Manhattan and have buyers flying abroad to pick up primo pieces that would be seen to by the curator who would take children of all ages thru the building as he shared his vast knowledge of all that is mego!

                  Hmmmm....

More customs. LOTS more customs. BIGGER customs. (I NEED a post-apocalyptic version of SuperCity; as well as somewhere I can put it.)

Like Palitoy said, I don't like over paying (although I have done in the past) Unlimited funds might mean you can buy more, but i don't think it necessarily means you can get what you want. How many GAHs are out there, if you want a Jet Jungle mib, where are you going to get it? What I am saying is that the rarer stuff may not be for sale at any price.

I have most of the vintage stuff (12 inch Joe ' Action man and Mego ) that I want.

I would buy a new house and have custom diorama tables in varying scales contructed to make battles for star wars, Joe, mego etc So i could always enjoy my collections.

then arrange a scheduled rotation of toys to be "out" since I am a loose guy

Unlimited funds would have been I wouldn't have thought twice about hitting the Buy It Now on this:

vintage 1978 MEGO corp AQUAMAN MOTORIZED SHARK - eBay (item 280483382250 end time Apr-02-10 15:41:53 PDT)

IMHO, it's about $500 overpriced in the BIN. That's what unlimited funds would mean to me...I could finally put a shark with my Web Hand Aquaman.
