REALLY...??? That would be SUCH a cool thing to find on YouTube. I recall Anne Lockhart at the '98 Convention specifically talking about her scenes with Patrick and having to call down to Glen's office about some of the verbiage.

Count Iblis was supposed to have a line like 'Sheba, FEEL me inside you....', and Anne just got a bit concerned...

I would have liked a Patrick Macnee figure back then, but the writing on the wall for the show was probably under way. I remember asking my parents for some of the second wave figures for my birthday and they were hard to find (Baltar, Lucifer). I remember my mom telling me she called a local toy store to ask if they had them and the guy replied to her "The show's canceled, lady" (I did get them, by the way, from the same store that she had called) Some things never change.
      It's all good!

My fingers remain crossed that Zica Toys have such great success with their 70s Buck Rogers line that they move on to 70s BSG.

Yeah, like THAT would have taken off into the skies!

I would love to see SOMEONE (*cough* ZICA *cough*) make a 70's BG line.

However, I think maybe we should wait to see if his BR line takes off.

What amazes me is that BR had the same amount of cheesiness to it, but was more popular than BG.

Was it because of the network? NBC versus ABC?

Of course, by the time BR was broadcast, BG had already been cancelled.

A shame really, I loved both of them.

Erin Gray was probably a big draw for Buck Rogers' viewers. I know she was in my house.

How old were you then? Fourteen, fifteen?

It was broadcast in 1980 wasn't it?

                  I was fifteen years old.

                  I liked Gil Gerard.

I actually remember having a kid crush on her at the time - but I was only 10. And the real reason I watched the show was that I thought Buck was awesome. I was laughing when I just checked Erin Gray's Wiki page where it states: "Gray's trim, shapely figure, augmented by a tight one piece jumpsuit, was popular with the show's predominantly young male audience. Gray commented that she was aware of the sexiness of her uniform which was so tight that she had to be sewn into it."

Not to mention how skinny she had to be in order to fit in the derned thing!
