Getting marker/paint stains off Mego heads...

Anybody know a good way to get marker/paint stains off a Mego head without destroying the paint job? I got a nice non-zombified Mr. F head but it looks like he has Invisible Girl's kiss marks all over his face when you hold it up to the light. It's subtle, but it's still there.

some times the grey starts out like that. It is splotchy looking. There are also molds that look pink on plastic.

One thing you can try is your local supermarket version of clearosil pimple stuff. It is a peroxide ointment that will bleach out colors in plastics. Put a bit of it on the offending area with a toothpick and let it sit for a day. But be careful, it WILL lift off paint as well if you get it near the eyes or eyebrow area.

The 'pro' version of this is called ReMovzit and can be found online.
