What wacky mego prices have you found in the wild?

I went to a large antques shop today with my soon to be wife Tracy to find some kitchen bobbles, and megos. We found a few tins and things for the kitchen but megos were nowhere. We were there for over 4 hours and found 2 Oz figures. She found the first one, a lion in a glass showcase. I bent down to see the tag because wile I was standing I thought the tag read $75 and I knew I had to be wrong...... I was, the tag read $95. I honestly started laughing out loud. He did have his Metal but no lionfeet shoes.
The second was a $20 Dorothy in bad shape.
It got me wondering. What is the most outrageous prices you've run into out in the wild???

I've seen some 'collector stores' here in Wisconsin, listing really poor condition Megos for near hundred dollar prices, along with vintage Joes for say '3x-what-you'd-see-on-eBay' prices.

'Course the same store had a BLACK C/A Action Boy beret for only $10.. I believe they were either the rare first run beret, or Canadian; either way, it's pretty hard to find.

So you know when sellers are 'out-of-touch' with what actual values, hoping to catch ignorant buyers.

My find was outrageous in my favor.... last march I posted in a thread about my finding a complete Robin at a small Antique store in Nashua , N.H. for $20. It wasnt until I was in the car and checking him out that I discovered he was a Fist Fighter!!!! I almost died!!! Had Anthony make me a box and I've been drooling over him ever since.

        For a Mego .....
At a local dirt mall ... $175.00 for a Dinah-Mite dressed in a Supergirl suit labeled RARE MEGO SUPERGIRL ... BTW, it had no shoes, cape or belt.

        For non Mego .....
At another local dirt mall ... $250.00 for a loose set of 4 Galoob 6" A-Team figures ... Hannibal, BA, Face and Murdock ... all missing most of their accessories

        Honorable mention .....
Dirt mall ... $300.00 for a "very rare" vintage 12" Han in Stormtrooper suit ... actually a custom made using both vintage figures but seller guarantees it's not a custom.

        Second Honorable mention .....
Comic Shop ... $300.00 for a carded Frenchie Mego Torch ... card faded and head graying.

There is weird flea market by my house where they are always frying food with no ventilation, so even if you spend five minutes there you come out smelling like fried food. The kids have dubbed it "Stinky Mart".

There is a loose Gene Simmons doll in there, missing his boots and stuff, the seller wants $100 for him. When I asked him the price he said "Oh that's a Mego" and said it right, still doesn't explain why he thinks it's worth that much.

About an hour from my house, there is an Antique Mall with the elusive $100 boxed AJ.

But the cream of the crop was the crazy ol' lady at the Clarence Flea Market in the 1990s and her $250 loose, totally incomplete Iron Man.

And you know he'll all be there next time you stop in. 25 years later!

At the first show I met Zorro at in DE a while back there was a guy who had some Mego figures on his table at a pretty high price. $65 for Robin $70 for Batman in played with condition. Not the worst high price story, but something told me I needed to ask if he had anymore. From under the table he pulls a box of "broken" figures. $35 later I walk away with 4 or 5 figures that need to be restrung and some arms replaced including a Catwoman that I replaced an arm on and needed gloves but had boots. Some extra accessories too. Proves that deals can be found at toy shows even today. Just like the good old days. I wish big toy shows would come back. I miss em.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

Yeah that spidey is pretty bad. On the low end, I got 4 waltons missing only 1 shoe in otherwise great shape for under 5 bucks.
A non-mego one that really ****ed me off was a guy was selling Shogun Warrior Mazinga Missiles for 18 bucks a piece, on the Bay.

The red and white ones. I remember seeing that. I have some of those somewhere, but haven't found them yet. Glad I pulled em off the junk SW's I sold for parts years ago. Still got a fist too somewhere. Just started tearing through boxes so they'll show up by spring I'm sure.

750$ 1974 batmobile with Bman and Robin in local classified ad.
Says its a great deal because the car alone sold for 756$ on ebay at some point.
Saw one just like it other day,the poor guy couldnt get 40$ bin.

New to the forums so just a quick hello to everyone. Hello!
I traded a shoeless, shield less, sticker less Captain America for about $10 worth of comics at a middle of nowhere comic shop. I went back there later and the guy had him in a glass display case for $50.
