Boxes or cards?

Which ones did you get as a kid? I don't remember one of my Mego figures coming on a card. I seriously think every Mego I had was boxed. What about you?

Window Boxes for sure. I remember other kids getting Megos on cards, but wherever my mom got mine (the Biway?), they were boxed.

I prefered and still prefer the boxes. I got my first Batman, Superman, Robin, Penguin and Joker in boxes. I later got a few carded figures. A replacement Penguin, Hulk, Superman on cards....then the huge 1980ish find of boxed GA, Catwoman and Aquaman. My Falcon came from Heroes World in a bubble envelope with no packaging at all.

Never had any as a kid. But given a chance I would've gone for boxed, it's easier to put them back when you're done playing

That's exactly what I did. My GA, Aquaman and Catwoman still have their boxes.

I only bought carded figures because I often saw kids opening and playing with the boxed figures while their mom's shopped. I would see store employees putting them back into the boxes and I wanted to make certain that the figures I bought were brand new and had never been played with by snotty nosed brats.

I still find the same problem today with boxed MEGOs.

I got both. I remember getting Shazam and Torch boxed and Mxy carded in the same Christmas. I also remember cutting up the boxes to get the side pics. I stil have the very ones I cut out.

Window boxed for the majority of my Megos. Might have gotten a few carded, but not many.

All mine were boxed. I don't remember carded Megos at all.

I still can recall the site of going to Zodys in L.A. and seeing stacks and stacks of those colorful sweet looking boxes.
Hollywood Toys also had a HUGE stack of them. It was like walking into a candy shop and they had ALL of them.
Never got a carded MEGO in my life.

It was always boxed for me...I can still relive going to the store and looking through all the boxed mego's
