    sort of grail-ish

This week I found a Palitoy Ursus on the ’bay. My thought was, this is probably my one shot to own one. They don’t come around much and a mint one can cost quite a bit. More than I am comfortable spending on my megos. This one was in great shape, unpunched even, but the bubble had been lifted some and re-sealed. As a result, the price was pretty reasonable, so I scooped him up. I don’t think he was listed for long, here is the sellers pic of him. He arrived today and looks amazing! I am quite pleased with the find.

    Chris,
congrats on adding a great piece to your collection.

I doubt I'm alone in thinking the Palitoy artwork is far superior to the US cards.

Thanks guys. I agree the artwork is so superior to the mego/u.s. cards. The portraits on the back are beautifully done.

That certainly is nice! It's always a great feeling to grab something like this and come away feeling that you got a good deal on it.

Congrats!! You should photograph and post the back artwork.

I really haven't got into Apes yet, never owned one (ever, same with Treks), but if I was to start, i would definitely have some Palitoy Apes card art, congrats
