Question on the Mattel Retro Action DC Heroes...

If Wave #1 was announced on February 2009 (Toy Fair 2009) and we are getting the figures now (February 2010)... Does it mean we won't be getting Wave #2 until February 2011?

Good question, I thought wave one was delayed or something and now everyone is getting them. I admit I'm a little confused as well, but that's probably because there haven't been very many threads about these figures.

I think wave 1 was announced at San Diego comic con last summer.

According to Amazon and a few other retailers, they aren't shipping until March or April. There was just an ebay auction for a 'preorder' of the whole set. Quite confusing how some folks have them in hand and others don't.

If that is the case why do they keep whining about the prototype status of the retro figures. So they had over a year to create these figures that have been gestating for the past 20 years! Aye Carumba! Seems really strange....like it should be totally unnecessary to have all of these production issues and delays.

Wave 2 should be in stores around late summer or early fall.
