Didn't Galen rescue Virdon and Burke?

Actually Galen did rescue the astronauts on the TV show... But, these cards seem to be crossing the first film and the TV series anyway, so nothing is quite accurate to either entity... I mean there was no examination by Zira on the show, Urko wasn't around in the film(s), and in reality Dr. Zaius wasn't on the TV show either: That orangutan was really called Councilor Zaius...

But, no matter how you slice it, these cards are excellent!

That's correct. I am not much of an Apes fan and though I did some research into the sets for Ape city these cards represent my rough understanding of the Planet of the Apes story: "Astronauts land, a General is scary on a horse, there's a big chase through high grass, the humans are captured, hung in a net on an archway, there's a trail with Dr. Zaius, Zira and Cornelius help the humans escape. The end."

very well put. not a huge apes fan myself however i am definitely looking forward to gettin those cards!! i think it's pretty cool how the cards are put together, background and all!
