There's actually more than 46 figures coming this year. Heroes, the company that put out the Barack Obama figure was supposedly announcing something soon, and I'm sure Castaway has something coming down the pipeline for this year also.

I don't actively collect new toys but some of them are very tempting.

I had the Lincoln prototype in my house the other day, just waiting for a good painted head shot.

They're doing a Lincoln?!? Awesome! Imma put him on a trek card!

It's about time, actually. The Fun World Lincoln is one of my favorite knockoff sculpts. Great to get an updated one.

I havent read the whole thread, but dont forget the new "comander x" figures as well, Ill be getting them all apart from dexter and anthrax, Ive never seen the "venture bros." cartoon, but Ill still be getting them, I just love the design on these things. This year is going to be modern day collectables, with all the other stuff I collect.

While I'm excited that there are so many properties being made in the Mego-style, I'm just not that interested in most of them. The DC Retro Action Heroes are what got my attention (PLEASE let Marvel jump on the Mego bandwagon!). The other maybe lines would be Star Trek, Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers. They all fit my idea of what makes a Mego. They're figures I would have played with as a kid if I'd had them. Twilight Zone, Lost and the rest, not so much. But really, WGSH are my thing. When I think Mego, that's what I think of.

I will be focusing on the new Uni Monsters, Lost and the Retro-Action heroes. Probably pick up some EMCE/Diamond Trek as well.

Well, since Brian let the cat out of the bag about Lincoln, I can tell this story.

Mark was showing me the Lincoln sculpt - I told him that I was a huge Lincoln
buff, and started asking what year the figure was set in (1863 or 1865) and
Marty Abrams comes over to say that he is a Civil War buff!

Maybe someday we can make the Gettysburg playset featuring Little Round Top
with Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain leading the Right Wheel maneuver!

If you understood that sentence, then you may be a Civil War fan too.

Is the museum doing the entertainment earth affiliate program?

                              Affiliates at Entertainment Earth

I'd be happy to order through it to help the museum out.
