Thats the funny thing, while people have some issue with Sam Jones, Max Von Sydow looked like he stepped out of the comic so everybody should be happy.

Coming a bit late to the party (my first post as well!), but I just wanted to add myself to the chorus of praise: "All hail, Flash! Savior of the (8") Universe!"
I’ve been mesmerized by this film since ever since I first heard Ming purr “Klytus, I’m bored” in a little theatre in Roanoke, Virginia back in 1980. Needless to say I’ve been champing at the bit for toys ever since (Thank you for fulfilling my Christmas list a scant 30 years later!)
Bif Bang Pow’s previous figures are works of art, no question, but you can’t really “play” with them. This new range is just what the doctor ordered (before he slipped away to join Aura on the pleasure moon of Scythia).
I hope the line digs deep into the cast of characters and we get a wide array of Mongo denizens to duke it out in the toy box! Oh, and a Hawkman rocket cycle, please!
--and wait, there might be a line based on the Filmation series as well? I think I’ve died and gone to injection-molded heaven...Comment

Welcome to the forum, Klytus. You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...Comment

I actually thought the same thing when I first saw the price, but the listing at Entertainment Earth (if that’s what you’re referring to) is actually $37.99 for BOTH Flash and Ming. So their cost is actually in line with all the other “Neo-Mego” releases we’re seeing.Comment

Exactly, little cheaper even than the Mattel figures."...The agony of my soul found vent in one loud, long and final scream of despair..." - Edgar Allan PoeComment
