I can't begin to explain how super excited I am, I am sooooooooo looking forward to this. And I love the fact that Super Collector is on the cover of the catalog, well done gentlemen"...The agony of my soul found vent in one loud, long and final scream of despair..." - Edgar Allan PoeComment

No offense to the customizer that did the Wizard of Oz figures, they are well done and all, but other than the Winged Monkey, those would have been some serious shelf warmers. Granted Star Wars would have made up for Mego's financial loss.
I would have loved the 8" KISS figures. I seriously hope that one of these new Mego Like companies get the KISS license, and if they do, they keep them simple like the original 12"ers.Comment

^ my sister would have bought the Wizard of Oz...she had them and the Waltons.
Can't wait to see the catalog in person. I may even given them as Christmas presents!Comment

Massive props to Anthony for taking this over and getting it done, his generosity (not to mention talent) saved the day on the 1978 project. I'm actually excited to send this to the printer.Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions

Thanks guys! I wish I could have gotten this done sooner, as originally planned, when I first committed to taking it on...but things kept getting in the way and it got back-burnered quite a bit throughout the year. But I'm pleased the way it turned out and the timing actual proved beneficial since we were able to tie it in to the new Super Collector character.
The Oz characters: I broke them into two assortments 1) The Kansas group and 2) The villains. I figured certain stores that maybe catered to girls more may go the full monty and order both assortments to compliment the original series while other regular type of toy stores may go with just the villains. So there might not necessarily be as many peg warmers as you think.
And since Mego did make the Waltons (which I don't understand) I really don't have a problem with Ozian farmhands.
Thomas, as to Batman '66 on the cover, I just couldn't fit everyone's customs...For Batman '66, the logical one to represent the line on the cover would have been Batman himself. However, without the rest of the line beside him I'm not sure anyone back then would have made the distinction between him and the regular Mego Batman. So I choose Mego Batman because Mego still would have had many of their more popular figures (like Supes, Kirk and Spidey) on the cover.
I choose your Creech though because I thought he best showcased the new Universal line and was a character that Mego hadn't previously attempted with the Mad Monsters.Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!Comment
