Same thing around my house. We have gone so far as to purchase some lower end Mego's and reproductions for the kids to play with. As for mine, they stay on display.

We do this all the time, and the kids love it. Especially, when we watch shows related to that particular Mego character.

I always try out action poses with my figures.
And yes, now and then Hulk does smash!

Whenever I watch a western on TV, I get my replica sixshooter and twirl it around my index finger.
I love to "participate" in the action.....

I don't play with my Megos. They are just piled up in a box.

My original Megos from my childhood are stored away and will be on display again, someday. My kid's play with Megos and EMCEs are within an arms reach . Kirk and Spock have sat with me to watch some DVDs, but usually they are quiet and respectful and don't talk during the program.
                  It's all good!

                    >do any of you still do this?

Agh! Eeewww.... that's SOOO weird! Never! Bleah!

Although around here there's still the Floor War: every so often I pick a tabletop RPG and some Megos, roll up stats and run through a few scenarios. (Hence the need for the ever-expanding city....)

And once I had all my Star Wars Stormtroopers lined up on the livingroom table. A friend came over just as I (wearing my helmet and tacvest) was downdressing one of them. (He didn't slaute wehn I walked in.) 'Course my friend couldn't decide if he'd witnessed some strange mental breakdown, or the coolest thing ever. (I get that a lot.)

                              Well, that's just weird.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...
