what bodies do the Robot Chicken creators use?

We all know that the majority of the Robot Chicken staff migrated over from ToyFare, where they had Twisted Mego Theater, but do the puppet makers use actual Mego bodies for their RC props?

I believe that Dr. Mego outfits Robot Chicken.

Before Robot Chicken, there was a SONY project called Sweet J Presents.
Most of the guys on that were Toyfare people. I supplied bodies, clothes,
heads, etc. for those webisodes. Then it became Robot Chicken and I
supplied bodies, clothes, etc. for the first three seasons. The heads were
      done by Plastic Earth.

I got a credit at the end in return for a deep discount. Come season three
my credit was gone - so they lost the discount. Of course by then the
puppeteers had learned to save their work, so the need for me got smaller.

Not sure when they started, but they modify the Megos (and other figures for that matter), giving them foam bodies and/or body parts with wire armatures for better movement. They were talking about/showing it on one of the DVD extras.

I visited their offices in Los Angeles but Seth Green was not in that day.

Last year, Robot Chicken people called me wanting just hands, so I charged
them the full price for the bodies since I have little use for bodies without hands.

I still have about 50 bodies without the hand or wrist plug if anyone is interested.

$3.00 a body - shipping is $14.00 for flat rate priority mail if you want more than
                  10 of them.

You know, that is a great deal on bodies for those that want to switch out the Mattel bodies on the Retro-Action DC figures. That is assuming that the Mattel hands will fit a Dr. Mego body well.

or put the handless bodies on ebay saying how the hands were used for the hit show Robotchicken ... and you prob. get $20 a pop ... due to the connection with the show ... even if the bodies never left the Dr. office (just the hands) lol lol
