I agree about BS. A true prototype would be on the skinny 12" body as the finitial KISS figures were.

If anything, its a late issue Gene with a grayed head.

sheesh. Whenever anyone has an item description in a large block of all caps, I just turn the page. I could miss out on a web handed Aquaman if the seller used that tactic and I wouldn't care a bean.

I don't think he'd would lsit an actual Kiss prototype with a $250 BIN. As with other KISS Megos, you have 2 collectors pools from which to draw bids. An open auction would score much better.

I think this statement is actually true though. Mego heads that do turn grey do so because the flesh coloured dye is "eaten away" leaving the original greyish colour of the vinyl. That being said, this auction's figure is interesting because I don't believe I've ever seen a greying KISS figure, I assumed that their entire production run was spared from that bad batch of vinyl. Still it's stupid to consider this figure to be a prototype.
