The same guy is now selling them individually for $22.95 and $7.50 for shipping so $30.45 .....Darn it very tempted.

My Buddy (who's a Mego Geek) says the Superman head looks more like Rocky Marciano. I told him that it's just the angle of the shot behind the bubble. Wish we had a closer and better shot front/profile of this Superman head (hope he has a slight protruding chin),......I luv me some Supes! My All-time favorite DC character.

Rocky was one of my favorite Boxers of all time.

Cool. I'll buy two Supes then, so I can make a Marciano custom to recreate the computer fight against my mego Ali.

Well at least they fixed the cape. From the pic, it looks like they've hemmed them which is a step up from what Mego did back in the day IMHO. This was something that concerned me once I found out Megos were making a return. The old capes frayed after a period of time.

I've just had my Green Arrow arrive and have the other 4 on the way too. This is a big thing for me as I'm mainly a vintage collector and don't really touch anything new. I wasn't going to go for them but changed my mind because in all honesty, the GA is superb! The card back has lovely graphics, the weathering is a lovely touch too.

I know there have been some gripes about the legs being bulky, but don't let that put you off. They really aren't that bad at all. Doc and the guys have done a fab job in bringing these back and now I can't wait to see who will be in the next wave. I'd gladly display these next to my vintage toys, as they fit in so well.

I have one question though; are there any plans to have different coloured cards in the next wave? It's not really a biggie but thought I'd ask .

Doc Mego said in another thread that the second wave would have a different color card.

No worries, Superman and Green Lantern will look better once you see actual product vs some of the online pics.
Head sculpts and execution are excellent.
I am sure you can move superman's belt into position, I managed to get the belt to slide into position by shaking the box!
The handle on the lantern accessory moves!
The emblems are like the old-school iron on T-shirt transfers.

gotta go open my Green Lantern to keep Green Arrow company.

I hope for the next wave they make the gauntlets stop mid forearm instead of going up to elbow joint.

That being said, I love and hope they will still be available when I find employment, gotta have em!

                        Way to go Doc!

Yeah, me too. I actually like the gauntlets, but they look a little too long.
They'd look great on Batman with added scallops

I think gauntlets would look cool on batman and robin if they do it the way DC Direct did it with the 13 inch figures. Well if they make Robin I would like for them to do the leather shoes rather than rubber.
