For me it's a little bit of everything... As a news director, the winter is always a bear around these parts. With "looming doom" hanging, the office turns into a hurry up and wait zone... The economy is surely a factor... most of my newest pick ups have been bits and pieces to complete a loose collection, nothing all that exciting to report, unlike your uber cool Palitoy Zorro .... And a dead computer at home leaves only the office resources and with that see the "Winter" strand of this rant.

Like Jimsmegos, I've only picked up a few minor things. I'm going to try and not buy anything for a few months. I've decided to use my money for a nice vacation, so I'm going to restrict spending until I get back.

Every night my wife walks in to our office at home and says "um, is that ANOTHER addition I see there?"...thankfully she has her own addiction to ebay, so her words don't really hold much water.

I'm on a bit of a hiatus. I spent a substantial amount last fall and I'm just laying low for awhile. My collecting spending habits usually go in a feast or famine cycle like that anyway. Plus I'm going to Japan in April, so I gotta save up spending money for the toy shops there, because those places are full of treasures but they are not cheap.

To be honest I saving up for the new stuff this spring. Between Mattel Waves and the Zica Buck Rogers, I need to pace myself. Especially the Retro Action - I thrilled that the bucks I'll be spending are going to be on figures my kids can rip open and play with.

The prices on items has gone so low that my spending has gone way up. Hardly a day has passed in the last four weeks without multiple packages on my doorstep. I don't normally post what I get since most of it comes from folks here on the board or ebay, which is watched religiously by folks here on the board. However, Rob sold me a Muhammad Ali ring with both boxers that is the new centerpiece for my room. There should be photos coming soon.
