    Superman vs Inclement Weather

    Hi Everybody!

I'm new. Thought I'd say hi and try to earn my keep. I'm not very talkative and don't have much Mego knowledge. Just what I grew up with.

Speaking of - my Superman could fly. He flew when I threw him in the air. Sometimes he wouldn't fly back down. He would stay on the roof instead.

After his superhero buddy, my Dad, rescued him from the roof nth number of times superhero buddy Dad turned evil and refused to rescue Superman anymore.

Superman had to spend all winter on the roof under the blinding sun and buried in snow.

He was never the same when he got back from that flight.

    His backside was quite faded...

      Wecome to the group!!!

Welcome!!Hope you enjoy your stay!! I have a similiar story to your Superman on the roof, except mine was one of those parchute guys, when i was like 12 i threw my parachute guy in the air, the wind blew him on the roof, Dad looked for him later, but didnt find him. But 5 or 6 years later we changed our gutters and he was found, just the plastic guy, no parachute, for being up there all those years he was still in good shape.

Welcome to the Mego Museum! Thanks for sharing! That was a good story. Reminds me of my two cousins and a Mego Fonzie...

Hi and welcome! Be warned, if you toss your Superman on the roof on the Museum, I'm not climbing up there to get it down.

I, on the other hand, will gladly climb up there to get any Megos tossed onto the roof. But I won't give them back

Here is some advice. Throw his power drill on the roof and have him get your mego when he gets the drill. Bet they don't spend the winter on the roof anymore. If he still complains saw halfway through the third ladder rung from the top... Sorry just my sick sense of humor. Welcome aboard!!

Great way to introduce yourself, I enjoyed the story. My dad didn't care much for Megos, but he did perform surgery to restring them a few times using paper clips and rubber bands.

It also reminds me of the time I was a kid and found a Mego Superman head smushed into the roadway behind by grandmother's house....Poor Supes, he's a survivor.
