    A Mego/Marx toys connection....

I have just spotted this auction on Ebay which has a Launcelot with a Marx toys sticker on the box. It is something new to me that both companies were connected in the past.
Is anybody aware of previous connections or is this new information?

Mego Worlds Greatest Super Knights Sir Lancelot on eBay (end time 24-Jan-10 17:59:30 GMT)

"I should say I`m very much cleverer than any of the people who put me here. As a matter of fact, I could leave any time I wanted. It`s only a doll`s house after all. Anyway, I don`t mind. I like dolls" - The Mad Hatter, Arkham Asylum.

All I know is what I have read on the Museum.

The Legends lines (particularly Robin Hood and the Knights) were marketed by Mego for a year in the US, they were distributed internationally by Marx (Germany), Baravelli (Italy) and Toltoys. Historical toys faired better in Europe and the Knights horse was even released there (check out it's gallery page)

I think marx was also the distributor of the Knights in the UK.

After Marx went bankrupt Mego released a lot of their play sets.

I can answer it...Marx distruited Mego Super Knights on the UK lands. The same thing you can find in Italy with the sticker Baravelli or, other issue, with the boxes re-made by Baravelli with his logo in replace of the Mego logo, like many other Mego's boxes.
