Never had them or heard of them. I think I remember someone telling me about them at recess but I don't think I was buying it that these were made, this must have been in '77. What are the values in the baggies vs loose on a figure? I understand that they never were sold with the bodies, is that correct info?

Never knew they existed until I saw them on the cover of Tomart's.

I acquired a mint set in the mid 90's, and only recently sold them off.

I was the buyer, and I am still the proud owner of this set.

I can't speak for anyone else here, but I only got Peter Parker as a kid. I didn't ask for him, my mom just ordered him. She knew what a huge spiderman fan I was. I always assumed he came by himself.

I've never asked her what happened to Kent. She probably wouldn't remember now anyway. That was almost 40 years ago.

That's too weird, I had Clark Kent and not Peter Parker! I asked my mom and she was like "what? I have no idea." So, who knows why some of us only had one. It will forever remain a mystery.

I have had one set boxed, 3 Bruce Waynes, 2 Parkers (one with box) I think Lonnie got it from my brother, 4 Dick Graysons... never had an extra Clark Kent, just extra pieces... One of the Bruce Waynes I got in a hidden auction with some vintage Joes, the whole lot for $77...

Now DaveMc has that Peter Parker, but not the box. I really had to push it on him. It was at MegoMeet 2009. I was like "Dude, buy my doll. You know you want it.". He was like "No, I don't want it! Just take this stupid Robin mask off my hands. It won't stay on my Robin and I don't want it anymore!". What, like I want a mask that will probably just fall apart and get lost like the one I had as a kid? So I had to take a bunch of stuff from his table and was all like "Well, you want your stuff back or not? You gonna buy my Parker or never see your dolls again!". He refused so I threw Parker down at his feet walked away. He never saw the figures I took again! Ask Dave, I think that's how it went down...

How is it so many people got Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne as adults? Where are all the other Dick and Peter figures? RM Robin figures and Shazam figures?

I have owned 3 sets, all bought as a "collector"... paid huge money for my first set from a Toy Shop ad in the mid 1990's... sold it as necessitated.... picked up another set from ebay in 2002... subsequently sold it...
this was the 3rd set I bought, 2 years ago (from a rudy auction)

I don't currently have any Alter Egos in my collection. I would like to, but have never even really went after any. When it comes down to it, I would much rather spend the high dollar amount they would cost me on other higher dollar WGSH items I fiend. If any ever do find their way into my collections it will most likely be due to insane luck scoring them on the cheap. I sure like seeing them in others collections though.

My first figures were the original RC Batman and RM Robin.. April 1973. Wish I still had 'em.
