    Time For Action, Johnny Action!

Neat addition to the Lionrock World War 2 Gallery today, it's the 1976 Mego Johnny Action Catalog featuring the military that Mego marketed around the world under many different names.

I've seen these up close and the detail is really impressive. I'd love to collect tham, but I'm just way too lazy to try and hunt all of them down.

Noticed the US Marine has a 48 star flag.

Neat they remembered a detail like that for a WW2 US soldier.

The Frogman, IIRC is actually borrowed from a Mattel line called "The Sea Devils" in that it's actually a bendable figure ala Major Matt Mason.

                              Hmmmm....

Those army figures are fantastic! It's a minor bummer that they're made on 7" bodies; but the detail and accessories make up for it. There's been a lot of knock-offs over the years too, and alot of THOSE are almost as good.
