I'm probably the only idiot who didn't know this...

I have a silver soldier ape with a gem mint outfit and accessories, but the body was a little wonky. So I bought a carded sealed soldier ape (the card was cut in half and in terrible condition) and broke it open to put the silver outfit on the new figure. When I took the gloves off, I saw that the sleeves are hooked onto the thumbs. I always have trouble getting gloves on my soldier apes without the sleeves bunching up. This is the first time I ever opened a sealed soldier ape, so I didn't know how Mego handled it. Here I am, major Mego Apes collector and I didn't know this. And I am man enough to admit it.

I never did it as a kid. Or now. But they did come that way. Even Aquaman came that way. It sort of stretches the sleeve a little. They should have done that for Iron Man instead of giving him short sleeves.

yep found that out when someone sold me a mint figure.

but if you are not careful, the thumb can push threw the sleeve and make a hole.

I did that as a kid as well.
I also do it with Batman's gloves.

I never knew until I bought a figure 6 months ago, and it had a hole made by the thumb so I still wasn't sure.

I don't do it for fear of poking a hole in the outfit ... but man what a headache would it save ... but I've mastered the art of putting a slight spin on the sleeve and then twist the glove on and in doing so it straightens out the sleeve LOL LOL

Didn't know they came that way, but I figured it out myself that was the way to get gloves on

This is really good to know, I've been using those little teeny clear rubber bands my daughter uses in her hair.

I was aware of it because of a Batman I once purchased that still had his gloves on but it's still a great point to mention.
