Do a trade for a loose one that's minty or has a grey head if your doing a head swap. Don't waste a carded example for fun. That one looks pretty nice.

I totally agree with on the difficulty on finding a MINT Mr.Fantastic, with a mint Suit. And I HATE the grayed Head myself! I was in the same position...so, I opened my Mr.Fantastic and put on a nice minty non-grayed Head...and I'm glad I did it! No regrets!

I'd offer it for cash/trade if you only want loose, you should be able to get a loose one and then some.

If it was a beater card then i'd say "yes, go for it", I did exactly the same, but that card is too good to open. Patience.

I probably wouldn't be able to bring myself to open it up.... but.....

I have been looking on e-bay recently and a mint Mr. Fantastic loose can go in the mid-50s to 70. So since you got him for $ 68.00 shipped -- if you really want a mint outfit for Johnny, it is not that big of the deal to open him up.

Open the card carefully and offer it for sale in the Marketplace.
