    zombie

    could someone describe exactly what a head gone 'zombie' would look like i.e. human torch is a prime example i believe! some pics would be good, before and after(so to speak) thanks all

    A zombie torch. Note the head has lost its red colour.



    The flesh coloured heads turn grey.

      Actually Paul your head looks pretty red to me. Wait, that didn't come out right.

        yeah that head is not that bad,just look for Ponch from Chips and chances are he's got a zombie head

          I was thinking that too. I have a Torch that looks much worse, almost a sickly grey-pink. Yuck. The sad thing is that I've owned the figure for over 15 years and have literally watched it happen in front of me. I also have a Thing that I've owned even longer that has a very faded light orange head now. Damn Pin Pin FF figures.

          If you want, I can take a "before and after" pic using a good Torch figure for comparison, so you can see the whole sad story for yourself. The colour difference is striking.

            man there's no way of stopping that crap either,I bought a Ponch with a great head left in a case for 3 months,pulled it out last week and it's already turning on me,must me the type of weather in Miami D'OH!!!!!!!!!!

              You can try to de-gray the figure if you need to.Look in the tutorial section of the museum

                the torch head is an almost orange color instaed of a bright red. the others turn grey the invisiable girl head is a common one so is mr fantastic.

                      I did the de-graying trick to a Mr. Fantastic and Luke Duke. I was moderately successful after repeat dips, but eventually they went back to gray. I personally don't think it's worth the effort. I guess it depends on the instability of each head, so results may vary, but I don't see myself wasting time on it again.

                          There is a degraying tutorial on customego provided by 3Amego's that has a good before and after pic of a zombied flesh colored head.
