Question about Lill Ledys

Relatively new here, but have many fond memeories of Megos. I'm 46 now and was probably the target age back in 72/73 when they came out.

I remember well that day in Kresge's when I saw the display with the solid boxes. I pretty much had all of them at one point or another. Now I am "recollecting" and reliving many childhood memories.

After reading the book about them and browsing this site, I learned about the Ledys from Mexico. The differences are sometimes subtle to huge, especially the Robin figure, which I find to be a great looking version of him.

But every Ledy figure always seems to be very beat up. Are there any MIB examples of the line?

Yes, there are MIB and 1 person owns most of them. He's a great guy though.

Not every Ledy is beat up either. It's just tougher to find them in good condition.

On eBay right now is a boxed Mxy Ledy. Still at that very high price, though.

They are not all beat up, but they are certainly more difficult to find in good shape. Especially with these two guys out there ^^

Most of mine aren't mint, except for my last Robin I recently bought, that one is dead mint, so they're definitely out there. Mxy is the easiest to find boxed

Yep, me too, I think we all started with pretty crappy ones. I've managed to upgrade a number of mine to ones I'm quite happy with, a couple of them are as close to mint as I'm likely to get with Ledys. So it isn't really accurate to say that all the examples out there are "beat up", just a large percent of them are.

The only one you are going to easily find mint or MIB is Mxy, due to a 90's warehouse find of a crapload of them.

I started out too finding ones that weren't in that great of condition. Then Bryan helped me out with some nice ones as well as Heath. I also have found several very nice ones on my own and most of those belong in others collections right now. I am on the hunt for more and hopefully will be able to build my collection once more. Meule that Robin is very nice. So they are out there. Finding them is the hard part.
