    The Apes Net Alan Verdon

"what happened to humanity?"- Alan Verdon
Astronaut Alan Verdon runs straight into a soldier Ape's net in this new entry in the Megomuseum Planet of the Ape cards. Eventhough this is not an Ape, Scott's design will make this card the favourite in the series for many.

That's really cool. I love the net, (but did Burke get away so he can rescue Alan?), nice action shot.

Even though the packaging spelled VERDON, I think the commercial got it right and spelled VIRDON. I like the clothes on Cipsa Bill, though. I think they look more convincing than terry cloth.

You know for the right people this is probably the most erotic card to date.

I like this one a lot. It's the highlight of the hunt panorama.

I never saw the POTA Tv show, so I don't really know the character, but to me the figure of Virdon is kind of a doofus compared to Burke. He kind of plays the patsy in this card series and I think this image is kind of hilarious as he stumbles under the net while Burke sprints confidently away. Caption: "Ahhhhhh! Haaalp me!"

The net is from the Spideycar by the way.

Nice touch! I didn't look that close and just assumed it was an effect.

Pretty close, Peter is the street smart kid from Jersey city and Alan is the optomistic family man who grew up on a farm.

Together though, they know everything, they're vets, pilots, kung fu experts, olympic horse back riders, each episode they revealed amazing skills they didn't have last week.

Actually on the show, Alan always seemed to be a bit more serious and level headed compared to Peter.

Great card, it's consistantly amazing to me how you capture these great poses. Can't wait to see the rest!

That pose looks far too natural and human for a Mego, but yet there it is. Great work as always Scott.

I spotted the Spidey-Car net right away!

I just noticed the card is labeled Virdon, not Verdon. It WILL have the Mego spelling.

Admit it, these teasers are just a fancy way of doing fact and spell checking.

These really are fantastic. I'm still wondering if that is Half Dome in the background.
