Hey Doc, I went to order, but it only gave a $7.00 shipping option. I couldn't see anyway to identify myself as being from Australia for Shipping to be calculated. Don't get me wrong. . . .I would love to pay $7 shipping - LOL, but would far rather pay what I really owe. I was thinking of ordering 2.

I didn't attack "the doc". I simply gave my opinion which I, like anyone else, am entitled to do.

As well, I didn't know that he had to pay tax because Mattel has an office in NY. Now I do.

I would also like to thank and sing the praises of all the other members who also thoughtfully bought extras for those who could not.

With tax and shipping, mine came to $23.20 USD.

Was that before or after shipping? Mine cost $28.70. I think the shipping is WAY overpriced!! I think Five would have been fair and not almost ten dollars! So the figures aren't $20! More like $29.

I know that Doc cannot help the whole "shipping and taxes" thing, and I appreciate his help in getting this figure.

But I must also agree here, that when all the math is done, $40 for a figure is pretty steep. I don't mind shelling this out once (it is a momentous occasion), but it's not something that I'll do again, unless the figure is a holy grail or something. If I cannot get the next ones a lot cheaper, I'll pass.

I should have started a cactus collection instead of getting dogs....

I agree with Ric. I hope if the two of us buy one together shipping will be more reasonable. But at this price I'm definitely NOT getting them all
