SphereWerx comments on Big Jim/Retro-Action Debate

Hey guys, Jim Sena, President of SphereWerx partners with EMCE Toys stopped by to clear up some stuff about the Big Jim base body for Mattel's new Retro-Action figures and I thought you guys might like to read it. He's very candid and honest and helps give us a little more insight into the whole process so far. As you know, they are continuing to improve the body as time goes on as well.

Interesting read. It will be interesting to see these figures refined as more waves are issued.

When you wrote your first article on the subject, this is exactly what I replied would be the issue - Patents and Trademarks. I'm glad Sena said as much, but it shouldn't be a case of pulling teeth.

I've written and signed enough NDA's to know the entire controversy could have been preemptively killed. One sentence - "Matty needs to re-tool the body to protect their investment. Otherwise, people can make knock-offs and create market confusion".
