Doc Savage Mego toys 1975?

Have a question I dont know if this real or a rumor but was mego considering making Doc Savge toys based on the 1975 Film? if so are their prototypes or pictures on anykind?

As far as I know, the only thing found to date is the card art Mego was going to use, pics of which are in Jon Bonavitas great book. Even then, dont expect much, it is pretty much just the Doc Savage logo with artwork of Ron Ely as Doc with a smoky kind of background like a lot of the James Bama novel artwork used.

They could have just redressed Jet jungle, perhaps with blond hair. Would have worked very well. The Sonny & Cher Red Roadster was rumored to be part of the proposed Doc Savage series.

I cobbled together a Doc Savage custom from Mego parts back in 1974. I would have been all over an official DS figure.
