    My Aurora model kits.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Hands down, my GI JOE (12") stuff. Distant second...Johnny West.

Mego gets a collective yawn. Thank God for this board on that front.

HA! Those are neat. Why do I suddenly have the craving for some hot sauce?

It doesn't matter what is in my collection, but EVERYONE launches into the story about how they had the missle-firing Boba Fett mail-away figure when they were a kid...

Yeah, but your figure isn't on that label!

Yeah I know it's more of a mariachi guy but that sombrero is so stereotypical I couldn't resist.
I've actually never tried either sauce. I like Frank's Red Hot Sauce. I prefer taco sauce or salsa if I'm eating Mexican food.

Anything that is displayed nicely, in a case always makes things look better.

I display my Hot Toys figures for all to see. They always get a great reaction.

I keep getting references that I am the 40 year old virgin for some reason....LOL

I keep my colleciton in a display cabinet with glass doors to keep people form touching them....also to keep dust out, i hate dusting

for the record, I am not 40 yet and I have 3 kids....

My wife has generously allowed me some wall space in our bedroom, where I have 5 glass shelves with vintage and current Star Wars figures (most loose, some MOC) displayed, along with the BMF (Big Millenium Falcon). The BMF probably gets the most comments, along with the "true" Vintage and neo-Vintage carded SW figures.

I have a separate display of carded and cased Mego Trek (4 vintage, 8 new) and Planet of the Apes (new). It seldom ever gets any comments, though. Most people seem to recognize the SW stuff quicker and gravitate to that first. Pity. The vintage Mego Trek stuff holds a place in my heart that even the vintage Star Wars can't touch.

                          Yeah, I'm a dork.

Reaction in a GOOD way? I dont know I kinda have kept the stuff hidden like hiding a nudie book collection. Yep I have 20 Action Men and a set of licoln logs under my matress.

Three reactions that stand out were from women. 10 years back in my apartment I had a row of 21st Century guys in German outfits ontop of a cabinet in my kitchen. I was dating a jewish woman who had teh biggest Holocost video collection I ever saw. Didnt go over well.
A few months ago my ride share pal for colleg came in for a minute and I had left a Action Man Cowboy out. " Oh look . . hee hee . . .you even posed him"

Worst has to be my wonderful friend Barb. Barb has a c-10 mint on card heart of gold. The only time she ever said something smart butt in front of me was while she was holding an Adventure team guy.
" Realistic hair? Realistic to what? It looks and feels like astroturf."

Gave me a great idea for a Halloween outfit soemday. Do they make astroturf in brown?
