    Carded Batgirl

Just some feedback would be nice. Any ideas on what a 1979 batgirl is worth ? As I'm sure most of you know, her card is dated 1977 but its artwork is from 1979. Don't get me wrong, I'm not parting with her !! I just can't seem to find a thorough and definitive WGSHs price guide. I'd love some suggestions on a good price guide too. Anyway, this batgirl is a dream come true ! Card is so crisp and vibrant. Colors are very bright. Bubble is clear and dent free. And oh yeah, by the way, she is UNPUNCHED !!! Thanks guys and gals !

Would love to see some pics.
As far as price guide goes that's nearly impossible. Values keep changing all the time, depending on the economy, condition, availability, the fact wether a figure is reproed, ... By the time a price guide would be released the actual price could've gone up or down

I paid $500 for the one I have, and it is exactly like you described. Mine also has a flesh colored head, as I am not sure if that is what you have. I am sure that would be a big factor in price as many of the 1979 cards have grey heads.

It's no price guide, but Ben's book World's Greatest Toys is a great resource for information.

I have found that in the last 6 months or so, prices have varied like no other time in my mego collecting history. I think everyone is panicking about the recession and just dumping their collectibles.

That said, I'd imagine a Carded, Non-Zombie Batgirl is still a pretty high priced, high-end Mego.

If it's in the shape you say it could be valued as high as $700.

Believe it or not, these are not uncommon. There was a "find" (cases of them) in the early 1990s. If the card and bubble are still pristine, it would be worth about $350-400 with gray head. You could get more ($400-600) with a flesh head.
