I was looking at some Mego advertisements in old comics and catalogs and I think the Green Goblin must have been a prototype figure by the looks of the costume. Spider-man was drawn from the circle suit costume. That always bothered me back in the day. I was glad the figure my parents got me didn't match the one in the ads. I thought the hand done prototype Spidey in the monster mags looked better looking because the web didn't center on the chest. It just had a rectangle shape around the spider. I think the only Spidey I'm missing is the prototype. I'm pretty sure I have all the other variations. Not packages, just figures. But I digress... Most of the figures look like the figures released. Iron Man even has his belt on sideways like most of the figures like to wear them. In one of my ads spidey has no webs drawn and he looks kinda funny. In the same ad, the Lizard's pants are brown, cap's hand is red and Iron Man has one red glove and one yellow glove. Hulk looks like he's smiling. Then there is the ads with the photo of the circle suit Spider-man and Captain America. I love looking at the old ads.
