As for the head swapping, Cap’s head popped off the old body and went on the Type S with ease.

GA’s head was ridiculous. It came off ok, but I swear no matter how long I submerged it in hot water, and no matter how hard I tried to place it in, it would not go into the Type S body.

Next, I tried unscrewing the body, but one screw refused to budge, so I said “Screw it” (ironic pun intended), and shaved a bit off the part of the neck that bulged the most; just enough to force it in after heating it again.

The problem with the plastic on the neck of my Retro GA head/neck was that it didn’t remain soft long enough for me to plug it in the S Type body. In any event, it came out great.
Ah! Gotcha! When the screws are not stripped, unscrewing the Type S body makes popping heads on it, like Green Arrow, very easy.

I forgot that Captain Marvel's head had a smaller peg that pops in the Type S really easy. It also pops out really easy and drove me crazy! I cut the neck plug off, put in a CTVT neck plug, and that keeps it in the body. I also swapped the FTC cape for a Topps Mego cape; I hate that big elastic band (I recently replaced the elastic on the FTC cape with a gold cord that I kept from a fancy box of candy).

I'm glad the hands fit well. If they feel a little loose, put some electrical tape on the pegs and that keeps this nicely in place too.

You are now officially a customizer!
