just by looking at the 4 pack, I was certain that the Hulk was taller but he is suspended in his individual box … I was hoping he was a tiny bit taller.

Such a great video profiling this new set! I particularly loved the aside about Marvel's loose licensing oversight in the early/mid-70s.

By the time I became a semi-regular buyer of comic books as a kid (around 1981/2), my three favorite titles were Micronauts, Iron Man, and Incredible Hulk. I had (and loved, and still have) the Mego 12" Hulk and the Mego 8" Spider-Man from the 70s. But by the time I became aware of Iron Man, his Mego figure had been off store shelves for years. All I have in my current vintage Mego collection are his boots and one glove. Still holding out hope!

So Iron Man would be the big attraction to me in this new set. The nose is kind of a bummer, but I totally get it. (I do really like how the new version adds flesh-colored paint around the eye slits!)

Great to hear the note at the end about another set likely coming later this year, and that it would seem likely to be mostly new characters. A Dr. Doom figure would be the greatest 'needle mover' for me personally.

The eye paint on the repro Iron Man is a close match to the vintage application, the fleshtone on the repro is more orange.
