Who drew the Jet Jungle box art?

I just posted my Jet custom yesterday. There was a question I forgot to ask. Who drew the box art? As soon as I saw it I thought Dave Cockrum. I know it's a South African character, but Mego is a US company. Could have done the designs over here before they produced the figure. Has this ever been addressed anywhere?

I believe that the artwork was created by either Jungle Oats or Springbok radio as I've seen it featured on original promotions.

Thanks for responding. Knew you would know. Looks like Cockrum though. Guess similar styles.

This was one I'd hoped we'd get from Mego 50th anniversary as some sort of exclusive/promotion.

Well, it is possible that whomever drew this maybe swiped from a comic book? It was super common back then.

I doubt Mego could have pulled that off at mass retail, but an exclusive Jet would have been amazing.
