I Wish Mego Would Make...

A Sherlock Holmes set. I am a BIG fan, and though the Jeremy Brett Holmes is my favourite, I would leap at the chance to get even a generic Mego Holmes. And the entire canon is in the public domain.

Technically you could use the Cushing Van Helsing head as a custom, since he played Sherlock Holmes in the Hammer version Hound of the Baskervilles.

At least with Holmes and company, you have the Sidney Paget illustrations to base sculpts off of.

Maybe a Mr. Hyde, and other popular public domain literary creations? It would be ironic to get a Mego Captain Ahab, but never a white whale.

If it was up to me, the set would include Holmes and Watson, Moriarty, Lestrade, Mrs. Hudson, Mycroft, and Irene Adler.

With Playmates Data cap and coat, I know I've seen that as a custom.

With Mego, even getting Watson would be a stretch, let alone Moriarty or Adler.
