RIP Lee Harrah

We are very sorry to hear about the passing of Lee Harrah, a man whose friendship and positivity brought so much to every MegoMeet.

I still spoke to Lee on the regular and despite being down, he was looking to the future and was excited. Nothing kept that guy down and I wish I had half his spirit or his joy for others.

Oh no, that’s terrible news. I talked to Lee quite a bit at a number of Mego Meets. Lee liked to talk so I’m sure my experience wasn’t unique. We talked in depth about Escape From New York, Rowdy Roddy Piper, The Ramones, and of course, The Incredible Hulk. I know he had fallen on hard times in the last few years. It’s sad to hear.

I think it's apt that you mention his joy, that's what I felt about him reading the blog linked in the newsletter.
