          As a repeat buyer and a fan of their work, I totally agree.

          I barely remember the 'core' of the Super Joe line from 1977(-ish). But so much of what they've made recently has that same aesthetic nailed that I found myself uncertain what was 'new' and what was, to paraphrase an old TV commercial many of us may remember, "Memorex."

          That said, I will definitely, eventually buy a Gor (or Gargan). But my short-term ambivalence derives from an impression that that toy didn't really match the aesthetic of the rest of the line. It had a 'Great Garloo" look to me.
