Those are the smaller 9" versions of the Remco Energized figures. Captain America was only made in that scale.

I recall this catalog well. My 9" Remco Monsters came from Penney's.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

Thanks for the blast from the past!

So with Megos now around $20 that's quite a jump in prices from the $5 in 1980. Amazing that you could also get the car for the same price as a figure.

Batman and Spider-Man in their racing Zambonis. Seems legit

I have one of those Corvettes. They were done by Gay Toys.

I did a quick search to see what $5.00 of 1980 is equivalent to in 2024: One site said $19.15, another said $18.61, and a third said a flat $20.00. So, adjusted for inflation, the price of a present day Mego figure is really the same as in 1980.

I did a search on ebay for that corvette and honestly there’s a bunch of them and very affordable.
I think my custom Dick Grayson would look good behind the wheel in a red corvette.

If you find one cheap you can use krylon spray paint to change the color.

Krylon Fusion is the best for plastics and they have a lot of great colors.
