"Planet of Vampires" isn't based on the Bava film, it's actually a combination of "Planet of the Apes" and "The Omega Man" which Atlas didn't want to pay a license for.

Not a good move. Marvel only at Disney Store...severely limited in terms of opportunities to buy. Atlas Comics, only those who remember Atlas will vouch for it. And just when will the female figures come out?!Comment

While this Mego looks good, the original Atlas Comics only ran 4 issues in 1975. Basically, he was the prototype of The Greatest American Hero where he gets a super powered costume and uses it for good.

If this is a success Mego can also release those last issue Hail Mary Pass redesigns like the Phoenix above. If most of the titles lasted to a third or fourth issue they did a soft reboot and totally changed them.Comment

Happy to add an Asian hero to my Mego. Wish this came with another unmasked head. Atlas Comics The Hand of the Dragon only had one issue released even though it ended on a to be continued.

I had every Atlas comic at the time they came out except Iron jaw.I never once thought these would sell in the action figure market because Atlas was supposedly pushed out of buisness by Marvel and DC after only 4 months . So far these are a big pass for me along with wave 19 except Hawkman,
Martian ,Spectre and Batman.Comment
