Wow! I had completely forgot about this but it all came rushing back. Especially the scene with the guy (nerd?) at the table on the tennis court.

I had also forgotten that it was legally required that EVERY SINGLE SPORTS AND SPORTS-ADJACENT SHOW was required to be hosted by Howard Cosell or someone doing a bad Howard Cosell.

What a blast from the past! Pretty sure I had one of these. I think it was perhaps the Fireman Fireman game. I had to save stick people falling out of buildings with my net. Fun memories

Man, Mego was on the cusp of things that could have potentially pulled them through their financial woes. Nintendo and Transformers obviously blew up in the US just a few short years after Mego closed up shop.
