    New to Mego Museum

I am new to Mego Museum. Well, new in the sense that I finally joined. I used to collect Megos until a few years ago. Well, I decided to start selling off all of my toy and action figures but just could not let go of my Megos. In fact, I've decided to start up my collection again.

I grew up with Megos as a kid. This toy, along with Big Jim, were my fondest memories as a kid. We had all the WGSH sans Isis. I remember having the Batcave, Batmobile, Batcycle, Spidey Car, and Green Arrow car. Geez, I wish I had all of those now. The first Megos I ever received were for my 6th birthday in 1974. I got Superman, Batman, Robin, Aquaman, and Tarzan. Looking at these pictures brings back memories, but, kinda makes me sad seeing those boxes laying around knowing that about 10 minutes after these pictures were taken, they were thrown into the trash. Well, now it is time to start building back up my collection.

        Welcome!
Glad you have photos of your first getting those toys when you were six. Sadly, there are no photos of me and any toys at that age. I have a photo of first getting Major Matt Mason in 1970, tho'!

Thanks guys! I'm pretty sure I have more pictures somewhere. I know I have Stretch Armstrong and Big Jim pictures. If I find them, I'll scan them. I'm really looking forward to start building my collection again and participating in the forums! Right now, I'm just randomly reading posts.

Seeing those boxes on the floor like that with the figures just released makes me happy and sad at the same time
Nostalgia just ain’t what it used to be.
